Dx5c question

Is there any way to erase the defaults on the Dx5c buttons. I can get any aux to set on any switch with a default set to it and the are the most useful ones for my winch, dig, and drag brake I need to run. Mainly a and b button throttle/steering thanks for any help.

Re: Dx5c question

You need to know what they are assigned to t, then go to that feature and Un assign them. Bt default they are not all assigned so creating a nw profile will get you going as well.

Re: Dx5c question

Man I'm trying to get my dig set up on channel a button and drag break on b. Those are set from the factory as throttle and steering trim. When I set them to those channels as a 3 pos. Then that just makes them do that and doesn't override it. I called horizon with no help searched the web and read the books. So if you have done it, can you help a brother out. I'm not an idiot but damn I feel like one right now. Thanks

You have to reassign the steering and throttle trims to different switches before you can assign those switches to aux functions. You do this under "Trim Setup", scroll down to "Next", then scroll down and reassign the trim switches.

You don't need to re assign them, you can just Un assign them.

I have a thread here on this with pictures (sorry thats moa, dig), but baby just started crying gtg maybe it's for the dx5r (is for dx5c), can't remember.

Edit, you probably want this for a axial ax10 style dig, 3 position neutral, drive and locked? baby again...

Try this. Adjust the servo endpoints and center in travel and subtrim respectivly
if you can reach -A- with your left thumb you might change momentary to active.

So this worked on my one rig that has the 415 rx but won't work on my ring with the 6000rx

So when to in assign them it jus takes on what I put. So if I put aux 1 2 or 3 on 3 pos on a or b it makes the throttle or steering a 3 position and doesn't take on what I have plugged into that aux. that's what's confusing

Re: Dx5c question

oh apparently throttle and steering trim need to be assigned to -A,B,C or D- buttons, so you need to free up 2 other buttons then go into trim setup and change them to -C- or -D- in order to use dig and winch on -A- or -B-
It doesn't appear to be able to assign the throttle or steering trims to -E,F or G-

Re: Dx5c question

Can e, f, and g all be assigned as AUX? for example, on a trx4 bronco, shift, front diff, rear diff?

Re: Dx5c question

You can use E and F for certain, possibly not G

Re: Dx5c question

I use G as the dig that's toggled on (dig engaged) when I hold the button down and normal (dig off) when not pushed.
