Yeti Can I safely run mamba x with castle 1410 motor in my yeti? Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk |
Re: Yeti I had a 1410 3800 KV 5mm unsensored in mine, paired with a Monster x. And it was fine. I only changed motor cause it was unsensored. Should be fine with a Mamba x also. I could gear mine up to 64/19 on 3s with no issues. And my Little Monster weights approx 10 lbs. Gesendet von meinem Pixel 2 XL mit Tapatalk |
Re: Yeti Thanks brother a big help. I'm getting a lot of heat out of mine after just a minute or so Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk |
Re: Yeti If it's hot: 1) check running gear for binding bearings and overtight gear mesh. 2) if not binding get smaller pinion. |
Thanks. Running 2s 500mah 30 c. Getting hot fast. 19/64 opinion and spur. Gears all seem good in tranny Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk Debating on going with holmes puller pro or puller pro xl....thought? maybe find some bearings to oil, that's really the only thing that wears out in the motor, replace them and good as new. |

Nice options"thumbsup" i changed to the puller pro R 540-L  I forgot to mentioned i have the 2 speed option in mine 8) also i have installed the included cooling fan on my 1410. But booth are great motors for the yeti:twisted: and i would consider to change to 3s. i power mine with 5800mAh 65C 3S zippy compact lipo's. (if it's not a typo;-)500mAh is a little small) |
