2280 has a good all round. 2850 needs to be geared down. 3800kv IS A PINION EATING MONSTER!!!!! never ran the 1900kv ... My neighbor does on a 2speed with 3s and it seems yo do alright Sent from my LG-M703 using Tapatalk |

I personally like the 2850kv for trailing just for the mud holes that may or maynot come around lmao Sent from my LG-M703 using Tapatalk |

I have been running the Mamba-X and 1406-2280 Slate motor w/9t pinion in my #1 TRX4 for about a year now and have no complaints. But, if I were to do it over again I would use the same ESC but go with one of the Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro motors. BTW, here is the HH motor comparison chart. https://holmeshobbies.com/motor-recommendations Last edited by Inspector86; 01-07-2019 at 05:36 PM. |

Also checkout Team Brood Racing, they have a nice selection of motors. I have one of their Vigor 550 Size 2600KV sensored motors in my Rock Rey.

The mambas datalogging is great! But I wonder why I don't get any data about the motors temperature from my slate 2850 motor. They are from castle both, so why this should not work? Is this typical? I have the 2.02 version. Gesendet von meinem SM-G955F mit Tapatalk |
