Default Tow Rig

Alright guys, I'm building a trailer and a tow rig. The tow rig will be made out of my Everest gen 7 pro. Looking to see what the best brushless setup (esc & motor) would be for the occasional crawling/trail driving while towing the trailer with my scx10 loaded onto it.

This combo holmes put together would be great. Just note it is not waterproof so not sure if that fits your needs. I have quite a few Mamba X /Puller pro and trailmaster combos with the standard 3500kv being my favorite. My boy runs a tenshock in one of his rigs and it is a pretty good bang for the buck but with the holmes only another $10 id still go HH route.

I just picked up one of these combos, hopefully it'll be here end of the week.
As far as the waterproof goes, it's not the end of the world. Also it's pretty easy to seal up if you can get some conformal coating, or even just some nice thick glue. (E6000 is pretty cheap, and would work fairly well.)

Please please don’t ruin an esc with e6000. If an item is not conformal coating or sensor safe RTV, it will probably ruin electronics.

I would use a sw4 and revolver 1000kv for a tow rig. Best all around choice for torque and reliability.

Thanks for the reply guys. I'll for sure be going the SW4 esc, and I'll give the 1000kv a shot.
