|  Savox 2290sg redcat Gen 8
I'm interested in getting a 2290sg savox servo due to the overall overkill of torque and build quality. I've got a castle creations 20 amp bec to power it... My concern is how much stuff am I gonna mess up using this servo? Will I snap and bend steering components left and right? |

I wouldn't worry about it, I have a half dozen powerful servos and have never broken a thing. As mentioned above set the end points and you should be good to go. Quote:

Breaking end links when you other wise could have stripped a servo gear seems good to me.

The only potential issue I can see is how the front of the gen 8 is setup and if that behemoth of a servo would flex the actual servo mount and cause damage. That's a question I can't answer but something I would most certainly keep an eye on and try and somehow brace.

The mount shouldn't be an issue, its nowhere near as flimsy as an SXC10.2 mount.
