Default Exceed Maidstone 1/8 crawler

I have a exceed maxstone 1/8 scale crawler. I have done a few upgrades to it and have ran into a small problem. I installed a futaba 4 channel receiver and now use my futaba 4pls. Also changed the esc to a programmable hobby wing quicrun 1080. I have also installed a rc4wd dig 2 dig unit on it. When I test the drag brakes and the dig it won't hold the truck in place. I have the drag brakes set at 100% and still wants to roll back. A friend of mine told me that some motors brake better then others. Have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Could be throttle trim, if it isn't centered it will think you're using the throttle when you're not. Otherwise it could be that the throttle deadzone isn't wide enough (can't remember if this is a radio or esc setting)

Have the trim in the middle and all travel as at 100. Also the dead zone is set in esc by the program card. Didn't know that the dead zone is smaller than it should be. Have to study the effects of drag and dig

Did you calibrate your esc? Does it seem like its trying to drag some or roll really easy?

It doesn't free wheel but if you put ithe front wheels up on the wall or have the truck on an incline that's fairly steep it will move back slowly
