| Reedy Crawler 5 slot Motors
Reedy getting in to the Crawler scene! They are coming out with a few 5 slot crawler motors! 12T, 16T and 20T 5 pull, if you havent ran a 5 pull motor they are great. 16t runs like a 30 turn but super smooth and better over all performance. https://www.teamassociated.com/news/...crawler_motors |

Neat. Let's see if they follow up with an appropriate speed control. I also can't help but wonder if they've got any plans for a proper 1:10 scale crawler/scaler on the horizon? |

These look like they might be comparable to a HH Crawlmaster Expert at a little bit cheaper price (5$ cheaper and come with leads). I love my Crawlmaster Expert 13t. The low speed control is night and day better than other brushed motors I've used. I'm curious how these compare.

I was thinking they were just rebadged GoolRC motors with a 400% price increase. But after seeing the motor turn limits I guess not. Who's trying 'em first? |

I think I'll keep my HH Crawlmaster Pro 550 12t. But this is just one more indication that the 1/10 scale crawler market is here to stay.

I'm just curious why there aren't any 5 slot sealed can motors made? In regards to the Reedy, I'd spend the extra $5 and get a HH Crawlmaster. |

| Re: Reedy Crawler 5 slot Motors off topic but my guess is because then there would be less reason to buy the more expensive rebuildables. so many people get the pricier ones simply because there isn't a cheaper option. and by guess is they make more on the rebuildable ones. Of course the first guy to make one will probably sell a ton though.

Good question. Are Holmes sealed cans just 4 slots? | |

I commented on Facebook asking John about a potential 5 slot Trailmaster. "Maybe. Got a pretty tall line of motors already, the TrailMasters already start pretty dang smooth too." Fingers crossed? When I ran brushed I always used Crawlmasters anyways. It would be cool to have a budget 5 slot option though. Lender rigs, wifes rig, etc... |
