Holmes Puller Pro stubby

Any opinions on the Holmes Puller Pro stubby? In particular I'm looking at either the 2200kv or 2700kv. How is the low the low speed resolution and torque on these motors?


I'm looking for reliability, light weight, and low speed resolution. It will be going into a 2.2 ar44 based rig. The esc will most likely be a mamba micro x, but I'm open to other suggestions.



Are their any other motors like this?

I've got two Holmes stubby motors, one is a 2700 and the other is a 3300. Both are great with plenty of power and decent low speed resolution (1.9 rigs though). The 2700 is my choice between the two but may try a 2200 at some point. You can't go wrong with any of them.

They are both great, smooth motors. The way I see it, it's easier to gear down than up usually.

I run a 3500kv Puller Pro Stubby in my Truggy and love it. Great, low speed resolution for crawling and also awesome wheel-speed for when the trail opens up or you need to pop out of something.

Holmes motor are da shizzle, and if you desire less weight the Stubby PP and the Snub-Nosed Revolver are the way to go...
