DX4S what other Rx will work with it?
 

Hi,I have a Spektrum DX4S and I need some more recivers for it.I've seen that Horizon discontinued the SR410 RX,So I'm looking for a compatible Rx ...any help will be appreciated!

Looks like you should be able to use any DSM2 or DSMR receiver. The DSM2 ones are pretty easy to find, as they are the older technology.

If you go for dsm2 (and I woulden't) make sure its a dsm2 surface RX and it pretty much has to be from specktrum, any of the non spektrum ones that are dsm2 are for aircraft and will not work. Well at least on the DX5 series.
For the most part you really just need to pony up for spektrums high reciever prices.

I have had great experience with the SR3100 "Orange" receivers. But yeah you do have to be careful to get surface receivers, the air ones get funny.

I had some good experience with the orange receivers as well back when I had the DX6i...was looking for them now but...didn't find any.

I have only found them on Amazon lately, unless you order directly from Chinese sellers on eBay.

I use the Orange RXs off of Amazon, other than taking a little bit to bind, they have worked out very well. My DX5R/C radios will not bind with this at 22ms, kicking them down to 16ms does the trick.
