LiHV advice

I’m looking at running a 3s lihv pack in my 10.2. I have a hobby wing 1080 and a hackmoto 35t motor. Any thoughts on if it will damage anything. The LiHV packs run at 11.4 volts instead of 11.1 volts.

Haven't found a lihv yet that doesn't puff within a few cycles. Junk chemistry.

It won't hurt the setup, but those who have tried them haven't had the best of luck...

Good to know. Now I know why amian has so many on clearance. Thanks for the info.

Re: LiHV advice

From what I have seen the esc reads them as over voltage and dosent want to run, after dropping the voltage to 12.6v they ran but it didnt seem like they ran all that long. So problematic and not worth the tiny increase in power. If you want more power try a lower turn motor or a 550 motor like the HH Trailmaster 550 21t for $20 if it fits in your vehicle.

I don't think the LiHV wil damage the esc, because it seems like safeties are in place on the esc to protect it, but damage from over voltage is always a possibility.
