Castle Slate Mamba X Combos

Anyone know what the deal is with the Castle Slate motors and combos at every hobby store? They are out of stock everywhere and have dates ranging from mid june to October before being back in stock.

Castle had some issues in production for a while, they should start showing up in the next couple months again.

There were a few Mamba X ESCs on ebay last I checked, but motors were not readily available. Holmes stubby Puller Pros are a very good motors and are the same size. They are available in similar KV ratings to the Slates.

^This, the Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro Stubby is a smoother motor too.
