Now, is that intended to be strictly marketed as a crawler/rock racer power system? Or, is it moving in on their XR8/G2 system? I'm assuming the former, but still curious.

Does anyone have more info about this set? I was told by Hobbywing that there would be AXE550-3300kv and 2700KV combos, normally expected to be released in April or May.

So the rotor is going to be standard 540 rotor like their 540 rotor is the same as a Holmes stubby or Castle 1406?

Probably, but to be honest that wouldent bother me because of how the axe system works. It uses esc magic to simulate a ton of torque. Imo the only thing the axe motors were lacking was initial startup punch and more rpms. The 550 motors address the rpm's, maybe they will also feel puncher since they will actually have more torque now, since they are larger. For scaling I never needed more punch, my 1:1 toyota dosent have much punch either.

If you want to drive it like you stole it however, I would suggest a Puller pro, JRH makes many options with an abundance of torque.

I'll stick with my Revolver. Thanks. I can regulate my throttle with my finger.
