Identifying Hitec servo My newest rig came with a hitec servo but the sticker is gone. I know on the side there is a date code, and inside the case is a case number, other then that I don't know what model it is. Any way to find out? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk |

Re: Identifying Hitec servo color? spline count? Case material? What are the numbers that you did find? |
Re: Identifying Hitec servo It's aluminium black case with shiny lines, I believe 25t, all I can remeber now. (Do yourself a favor and don't get old) servo wires are twisted together.I can get pics and more info tomorrow when I'm there. Maybe tonight even. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk |

Re: Identifying Hitec servo Never trust the op... So it's a 24t. Titanium gears. It's a 5998tg. Not to impressive specs, but it's not to bad Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk |
Re: Identifying Hitec servo Just wanted to add, on the inside of the front of the case it said HSC5998. The reason I didn't Google that number is because I read another thread of someone who had the same question, and he said those numbers identifies the case only, not the servo. Apparently he was wrong. So in case anyone in the future reads this, the model number is written on the inside of the case. It didn't say tg, for titanium gears, but a quick magnet test will let you know if it's titanium (not magnetic) or metal (magnetic). Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk |
