I like my Radiolink radios. They're inexpensive and they work great.

I'm currently using the Hitec Lynx 4s radio. I'm really happy with it.

While not new models, A hacked FlySky GT3B or GT3C is still probably the least expensive & most popular budget radio @$40-$60. It's widely available with inexpensive easily found 3ch,6ch, & 8ch receivers. Tons of mixing options, up to 8 channels, every button can be remapped to another channel. The GT3C with a lipo is the more preferred over the 2, grab a spare 1s lipo for it and you're set. Hard to beat feature set for the $. I've been running one hacked for about 8 years and picked up a spare not long after. No problems with either. Sent from my LGMP450 using Tapatalk |

You only need a 2ch for a pro and 3ch for a super.. The TX comes with a 4ch.. So you can get them cheap enough.. And.. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUSH ANY BUTTONS!!!!!! Sent from my Moto Z3 Play using Tapatalk | |

I've been running a TrackStar TS4g with no real issues.... except for run away throttle when the batteries fell out!

Radiolink RC4GS user here for just about two weeks only but it's been great so far. For the features and price, I'm very happy with it. I bought a LiFe 6.6v batt for it.

Is it crazy to just grab a takeoff Traxxas TQi (the one with the 2speed rocker and locker switch) for ~$50 over buying a different, new radio? I'm building my second crawler soon and find no issues with the TQi setup on my TRX4, but I haven't explored it too deeply. Is there anything I'm missing out on if I go this route instead of the Flysky or something? |

Before I made my order on the 4GS, I read and watched a lot of reviews and comparisons between the Radiolink & Flysky. I went with Radiolink as it suits my needs. I'm using the TX for 2 cars. An on-road and a crawler/rally set up CC01. I didn't need the 6GS for the 6 channels. Only need 4 for the extra channel and auxiliary. But the 6GS is better suited for crawlers.
