Just another rebadged jx. They'll slap anyone's name on there.

It's actually not a rebadged JX at all. It's just a matter of the fact that there are only a few companies out there making servo housings. The cost to have a "custom" housing would be huge, and get handed down to us the consumer. I've personally spoken with the owner, who is a huge supporter in the RC Rock bouncing world also, and the internals of this servo are far superior to anything JX has to offer. If you don't believe me you can ask any number of the competitive RC Rock bouncer guys who swear by this servo and it's strength and dependability. Plus, supporting a small company who supports this hobby, and it's growth is always a bonus.

Cool, its another generic chinesium servo. I wonder if Holmes's programmer will recognize this one like it does the 3brothers?

According to your profile I see in Tapatalk you have one post under your belt. So... Thanks for the opinion, but do you have any facts?

There are many servos that use the same technology. The programmer will work on everyone of them. NO ONE has the rights to claim it is their technology. Because it is not. IF someone says it is their technology they had better have proof. IF not it is false information that is fed to the public.

I see they have an S2 and now an X2 model being released. Rebadged JX or actually something new?

I've never seen a servo case that needed a plain black wrapper more than that X2 model - looks like subway graffiti...

Yeah I agree. Ok in a basher or whatever but not in a Crawler

So wait, you can only use this for a shift linkage servo? That's kinda lame. :ror:

What makes a servo case any harder to machine than a wheel or an axle housing?

I think it comes down to a cost thing. You could get a new case machined but it would cost x amount of dollars more than to use an already existing case they make and machine.

Shift RC is the name of the company. Kinda confusing but maybe they came up with the name before using a servo to change gears was a thing :D
