Default Questions on using a DeWalt motor in place of a Titan 775

This isn't for a r/c vehicle, but my kids' ride-on vehicle.

The vehicle uses two 775 size motors, generally with 0 deg timing as one has to turn in reverse.

I was going to try the Titan 775 motors but do these have some timing built in? If so, will it hurt to run one in reverse.

I would like to try the DeWalt motors, mainly for their dual ball bearings and build quality. I will need them to operate on 18-24V, I can limit voltage and amps with the speed control, but the controller is rated at 300A so should be sufficient.

What DeWalt motors have the same mounting dimensions as the 775 motors? Diameter and length aren't an issue, but the bolt mounting holes need to match up, as well as the 5mm shaft diameter.

All input appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you tried the modified power wheels group?

we are getting work done to our building and i have watched 2 contractors smoke 3 dewalt drills. one of them was just screwing covers back onto an equipment cabinet.

now im questioning my dewalts at home... not saying don't use them, just sharing my experience.
