| DSMR and orangeRX compatibility.
I have just treated myself to a Spektrum DX5C to go along with my UMG10. I've noticed the 5 channel receivers from Spektrum are very pricey, especially when I need several. So, with that in mind, is anyone on here using a DX5C or DSMR transmitter with an orangeRX and if so which one?! I feel a bit dumb asking but it's something I've just never done before with a pistol transmitter. |

Thanks very much guys, I didn't realise DSM2 also work, so I will look for some DSM2 5 channel ones. As for above, I already have a few 3 and 4 channel ones, but I am considering putting a winch on the rear of the Unimog as well as the front, so I need all 5 channels. I will have to have a trawl through HobbyKing and see what they have to offer. I know back in the day of the DX3, it had to be a certain firmware to work, hopefully this isn't the same. |

So after some more looking, I can't find any DSMR/DSM2 5Ch receivers, 6ch would also be fine, but needs to be a minimum of 5, can anyone recommend something? Tried, eBay, Amazon, HobbyKing and Google.

You can usually find used receivers on eBay a bit cheaper than new. I just got 2 4ch DSMR receivers for about $40/ea last week. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

No used OEM 5Ch receivers available on eBay in my country, sucks, over here the receiver is basically the same price I just paid for the transmitter new!

| Re: DSMR and orangeRX compatibility. My partner is in NYC working right now, she said I can buy anything over there and send it to her, as long as it's small (otherwise I'd be getting a new Gelande II!) but after you have paid the added tax, it doesn't work out much cheaper, at least it's that way on eBay, when I put her address in it adds like $8 in tax.

Question, if I found a NYC hobby store, would tax still be added, or is it like a crossing state borders thing? Really don't understand the added tax.

If you can find someone who is not in New York state, you might not have to pay sales tax. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
