Default Holmes HV500v2 in a bomber?

Will the Holmes HV500v2 servo hold up in a bomber? I’m thinking of using it for rearsteer. I’ve got a Savox 2290 on the front axle, but it would be nice to have a cheaper option.

Been using my Holmes shv500v2 for 2 summers and 1 winter
Never had to lubricate it, never been even warm after trail runs.

I don't have any other servo to compare but I would say it's among the best out there.

I'm using a ProModeler 470, it's been holding up really well

Think I have to try one then, and hope it’s got the power I need.

I had one in my Bomber as well, busted the old middle gear pin. Got the update and that has been going well for a while.
I’m sure it’d be fine on the rear axles unless you like to cartwheel off cliffs or jump 30’ in the air to land off camber in the rear wheels.

Cartwheeling of a cliff killed the servo I had on the rear axle. Broke the servoshaft off. But the shaft was made of chinesium I think (jx servo).

I have a couple of them in use now and think they are fantastic. It's probably the only servo I will ever run in a rig I actually care about.

Have tested the Holmes servo in a few comps now. I find it way to weak for my bomber on 2.2 Hyrax.
