Esc/servo issues

have come across a weird issue with my ae5l esc! The other day I went on a decent hour long hike, only used 3/4ths of a 6400mah battery and after taking the rig home and plugging in the battery to the esc it wants to get stuck at full steering lock then the esc rapidly blinks and I get no response from the receiver. If I unplug it and plug it back in it usually works just fine after that. Occasionally after it sits unplugged for a few hours it will repeat the weird full lock but after a few resets it works normal. Any ideas? I’ve tried it on multiple lipos, only upgrades are a power he 20kg servo and incision driveshafts, which wouldn’t cause the issue its frustrating because it’s a new rig and has never had a full battery ran through it! And it’s basically new but I don’t have a receipt so I doubt axial would cover it under warranty or anything! I’m starting to think it might be the servo? Here’s a video of the issue https://imgur.com/a/Fl3o18g

You posted your AE5 issues here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial...ml#post5964415

No need to add more clutter to this site and start a new thread.

AE5s are junk. Replace it and go from there.

We have already answered this kind of question hundreds of times

The axial RTR esc is a hit or miss. It can work a while but will most likely fail very fast.

You need to move on and grab a hobbywing 1080 for staying brushed or get into the brushless category.
