Default Did I Fry the ESC?

I accidentally plugged the headlight plug (3 pin plug with 2 wires) in backwards, and the car drove forward for about 10 seconds and then stopped. Now there's no throttle, even after fixing the error. Did I fry the ESC? I didn't think a backwards LED would cause that, and figured since it was only the red wire connected to the other red wire, it just wouldn't have continuity.

I doubt it, if anything I'd bet your receiver is the problem.

This is a mini (Panda Tetra X1 to be exact) and the receiver and ESC are one unit. Steering still works, and the lights work now, but no throttle.

Oh, ok. In that case, it's possible.

Step 1 power it on.
Step 2 smash it with a hammer.
If you saw magic smoke come out it was still good.
If you don't see any magic smoke it was already bad.
