Default Radio case/bag

Any recommendations for a compact bag soft/hard case for the Futaba 4PM? Searched online and seen some at the usual places but most seem unnecessarily big with extra foam cutouts that would never get used.

Just an idea...you could get the foam insert from AMain, then find an acceptable bag that's larger than the foam's Tx cutout, and cut the foam down to for the bag.

Thanks thought of that but I was looking for a ready to buy solution. Mainly because I'm the kinda guy that has a tendency for things to snowball. While contemplating cutting my own foam, I was already eying out our toaster trying to convince myself we needed a new one so I could cannibalize the heating element to make a foam cutter.

Harbor Freight has “Pelican” style hard cases with uncut foam. Score one and trim to fit.

Think I know which one...the case with the "pick-n-pluck" foam? I have two of those. Good quality, and very inexpensive.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I was looking hard at that rcmart soft case then remembered I had something buried in the closet that might work. An old over the shoulder messenger style camera bag.

Ah, it was on sale for $7.50, no wonder it was OOS. The red one is in stock for $15.

I like that semi rigid case. Reds not my color but it'd be hard to lose

Here's another one that's in stock US. With foam insert and slightly larger inner dimensions. Just ordered.
