| CC Sidewinder 2 SV2 arming
Need someone to confirm the arming process, can't find an online manual. BOOO to Castle! I got it used on the cheap from Ebay, dude had more than 100 of em. Any who, I connected everything and go to arm, holding full throttle works, but then holding full reverse seems to fail. If I let trigger go to neutral after full throttle, it semi-arms and will run for a few seconds. I've already requested a return, but figured I'd see if anyone here has suggestions. |

Did you calibrate it to your rx/rc ? Look at the leds. Green is forward , Red is reverse, yellow is neutral Hang up and Drive |

Sorry, I meant calibrate, not arming. When I try to calibrate, forward goes as expected, but then reverse led goes red and starts blinking red then never arms. I'll try reversing. Just tried with throttle reversed, no difference. Last edited by Thorsteenster; 12-21-2019 at 12:52 PM. |

Also check the firmware. http://support.castlecreations.com/t...support-videos. May need a update?if it's used there may be settings for racing=no reverse. Although it running and then stopping is odd. Maybe a internal bec issue Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk Last edited by jaymann; 12-21-2019 at 12:59 PM. |

I don't have the Castle Link, but I was able to get it to calibrate and pulling the trigger the motor spins for a second then stops and the ESCs LEDs blink. I only have two BL motors, both outrunners and same thing happens with both. I think it's a bum ESC and I'm not going to buy a Castle Link to verify. I miss my 1st gen Mamba, it had a mini USB port on board. |

I had been using a NiMH battery, decided to try a LiPo and worked just fine. Ordering a Castle Link now. Thanks guys! In case anyone's interested: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Castle-Crea...72.m2749.l2649 Last edited by Thorsteenster; 12-21-2019 at 02:52 PM. |
