| Brushed motor, can question
When looking at 540 size 35t brushed motors there seems to be 2 types. Full can and brushes/springs exposed. Other than being able to maintain easier is there a performance gain? the exposed motors seem to be /look better quality regards of the brand. |

What you are looking at are rebuildable and sealed can motors.

As was said, the motors with the exposed parts are rebuildable and also more susceptible to the elements.
