| most quiet servo for the $
posted this is the trx forum with advice to get expensive brushless servos and advice to get just about every brand out there down to the 25 dollar servos. running the axe 550 3300kv esc combo that is pure silient to run in the house and just replaced the stock servo with a savox 1230sg and its an incredibly annoying experience as it wont be quiet at center. what servo do you buy in this situation. maybe something that can allow me to up the volts to 7.4? brushless, analog, digital, coreless, |

You can just get a DS3218 20kg or DS3235 35kg servo if you're on a budget. They're really quiet.

| Re: most quiet servo for the $ thats what i heard and i suspect ill go with a ds3235 at half the price of my savox but the reviews say its quiet. any problem with a 270 degree servo on a stock tqi transmitter that cannot set endpoints?

Without setting end points or limiting the dual rate you definitely have a good chance of burning out your servo. | |

The quietest servos I’ve ran so far are Holmes v2 (v3 coming, hopefully soon) and a protek 150t (discontinued but updated models are available).

ok guys went from the mildly expensive savox 1230sg to the DS3235 for around half the cost and it solved my problems. thing is about half the noise and virtually no noise when your not on the steering wheel. the servo was smaller and holes lined up perfectly unlike the savox. still plenty more power than the stocker. this is what i bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |
