Redcat Gen 8 Light Kit

Just wondering if anyone has figured out a way to get the official Gen 8 Light Kit manufactured by Redcat to turn off and on from the transmitter instead of having to unplug it. I'll be getting a new FlySky controller soon and was hoping to use the extra channels to control the lights. Thanks.

I can probably help with this, but I will need more info. Looking online, I can't seem to find a detailed picture showing the wiring. If you can help with that, I can probably find a way to do the switching.

Re: Redcat Gen 8 Light Kit

This light kit gets its power by plugging into the receiver on both the steering and throttle channels. To turn off all the lights, you would have to interrupt the red wires that plug into the receiver, but not interrupt those connections to the servo or ESC.
I can build you something to do this, but it might be a little messy because, like my controllers, it calibrates itself to the signals (so it knows when to turn on the brakes and turn signals) when it is powered up.
