Flysky FS-BS6 rx ?’s

The specs say 6.4v max input. Has anyone attempted to run higher or did it fry the rx?

I set mine to 7.5v the other day and it seems fine, but all the spec sheets I saw said it could go up to 8.4v. Seems there is conflicting information.
