Default Hobbywing Quicrun Brushless ESC?

I know the Hobbywing 1080 brushed ESC is pretty popular for crawlers, but was wondering if anyone had given this one a try:

It has good ratings for non-crawler vehicles, and for $100+ less than a Mamba X it's pretty tempting.

Would that work with an HH 2700kv Stubby motor? Thanks!

I've never tried this ESC in a crawler , but I do use it in all of my race vehicles. It's a great reliable ESC for the price. Let us know how it goes in a crawler.
