| as part of my 2.2 tlt, i am putting a novak nitro servo regulator on my rig. Currently, i run an XRS, integy 55t, and custom battery pack (7 cell 3500subc). I was getting a huge loss in power after about 30 minutes from my batteries because my servo was draining power. the problem: the wire that comes with the regulator is tiny... I want to be able to move this around my chassis and unplug/plug it as necessary so i am going to install deans. male side of deans: 20 gauge wire female side of deans: 12 gauge wire. Will this overheat the 20 gauge wire? if I dont use 12 gauge on female side, is my only other alternative to find more 20 guage and hook this all up? This is a picture of the regulator, notice how small wire is... ![]() |

| i would solder the connections right into the deans and mount it on the esc or receiver it doesnt matter how thick the wire is it will only draw the current it calls for the only time there would be a problem is going from a thicker guage into a smaller gauge like if you had 12 guage on a batttery pack and the wire was to short and you extended it with a smaller gauge at both ends |
