Default 11.4 lipo / axial

Hi
I just got my new axial Capra and by mistake I ordered a 3s 11.4v to go with it, I didn't know these were a thing, my charger only has setting for 11.1v, will it be ok on my charger at 11.1v setting and will the stock axial esc cope with it?

Yes 11.4 hv is fine to charge to 11.1 you just won't get the full capacity of the battery. I cant say how well stock electronics will do on 3s. I never had good luck with them. Driving style and terrain vary to much to give an answer to that.

Never hurts to ask.
Its not gonna blow up. The battery will be less stressed out at a lower charge then if it was at the full 11.4. Never let the cells get to low and the battery will last a long time. I set my lipo cutoff at 3.4 volts on high drain stuff and 3.2 on lower drain.

I've got two Capra...and, like smokey all other CAPRA owners, I only run it on 3S. You didn't indicate whether you bought the kit, or RTR version, so anytime trying to help you might not be able to do so, as you didn't indicate the motor's kV, or the pinion behind used. If, on 3S, you think the Capra is "too fast", and your worried about breaking parts, you can always 'gear down' - the stock transmission housing supports down to an 11T pinion. (stock is 14T). As JRH always says, "Gear down, and Volt up."
