I would recommend a KMS Servo winch. One with free spool especially. I have had one for years and has never gone down. For all the abuse and crap that goes into it, I am amazed nothing is stuck or seized though do lubricate the free spool switch/lever/whatchamajig every once in a while because I did not, making it sticky on occasion. But overall very good product. I don't recall which version I have but iirc it's rated at 180 oz/in which is plenty to dead lift my 8 pound rig with ease.

By all means, get a KMS! He makes a great winch. The one I make is more of an entry level product.

ĄThanks man! I hope I can find one. Everything is in back order or out of stock.

You are being to humble, for a 7.5 lb truck your servo will work great for his needs!
