Default HW 1080/also AXE issue,

Have had the 1080 for a few months now in my 10.3 and bben fine and then get a new flysky gt5, to keep my sanwa just for racing.
changed it over and also put in a new 540 brushed motor and when i turned it on nothing as in not throttle...servos fine, plus winch plus lights just no throttle and had calibrated fine but nothing so put old motor back in and still the same and sanwa in and also the same a slow flashing red light...please help.

axe is new with 540 2300 kv for capra build 1.1 updated and went to calibrate and pushed down the small black button and then on/off button but only the green light came on and servo fires up etc and again no motor at all and tried all sorts of comboes and nothing with new or old radio it was the same just a green fashing led from esc...please help as really crazy both have now developed issues that are similar but different..cheers.

Sounds like the esc isn't plugged into the throttle channel on the rx.

is the white wire on your connection facing the "left" of your ESC? (toward the batt hookup)?

Just because it was not clear in your post.....

Did you buy the HW Axe combo with the ESC?

You are not trying to run a HW Axe motor with the 1080 ESC correct?

2x separate systems I am having issues with 1080 brushed in my axial 10.3 and axe system 2300 kv in my new capra build.
Have tried 2 diff radios so 2 diff receivers and both doing exactly the same..1080 no throttle with slow flash red led and axe won't even calibrate and goes straight to green flashing led and servo ,lights work but no motor.

OK that clears up my confusion.

I don't know the features of the radios you are using. Is there a way to monitor the position of the steering and throttle on the transmitter. I ask as when checking mine on a Spektrum radio my throttle was showing it jumping from 0 to a random number as if I was squeezing the throttle. I reset the radio and it did not jump any longer. After that I was able to calibrate my fwd / n / rev on the Axe.

I would reset everything, radio, ESC, receiver if they can be reset and start from scratch. I assume with the switch you are trying to set your end points for the ESC for fwd / n / rev. If that is the case it sounds like the ESC is not getting a good throttle signal to set end points.

Looks like I had 2 flat batteries and my 3rd was ok as 2 of the batteries I had just got and hadn't used and bang away they went all good and being a bit flat must have confused the axe system as it wouldn't let me calibrate it even ..thanks for helping
