Default Lipo's and Magnets

Hi all,

I have searched around and didn't find a clear answer to my question, so here it is.

Has anyone had any experience mounting magnets in close proximity or directly to lipo batteries? Based on the outside research I have done, it sounds like mounting a magnet directly to a lipo should not cause any issues for the battery since they are not magnetic themselves. Just curious if anyone has any experience first hand....

You've got the right idea.

Lithium is diamagnectic so there's no interference or cross-over concerns.

Well I have run magnetic body mounts pretty close to the battery. I also have some scale accessories that are held with magnets that are in close proximity.

Not directly used to hold the battery.
