Default Futaba 3PK issues with compatibility with Hitec 645s

Running a Novak Super Rooster, Futaba 3PK radio, and Hitec 645 servos. Everything is hooked up properly, to my knowledge. When I power up the ESC everything is fine, but when I power up the radio the servos jerk to one side and don't respond. I've tried adjusting the end points but this doesn't seem to help. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like it could be a centering issue... Have you set the centers on the radio and the servo's to center? I'm not familiar with the radio but I do know yo can tweak the centers a bit...

Altho it sounds like your trims could be off, too... Center everything up... Trim and EPA as well as radio center points... That may help...

I ran that same combo and never had an issue. I agree that it could be a centering issue or interference from a wire????

Centered everything up and it works just fine. I think I've got to much radio for my skill level. Too many different settings. I imagine it would be great for someone who knew what they were doing though.

It is a great radio. It is best for Racers and specifically Nitro racers. I had one but then sold it when I got into crawling. All you need for this hobby is a 2 or 3 channel radio. No frills. I am running a DX3 now and it is perfect. Others are running things a simple as a TQ3.

Read the book with the 3PK. It is pretty easy to use. Just keep it on Level 1.

Good Luck.
