Default Sidewinder Micro2 - Possible to run Snubnose V2 revolver 1800kv?

Hey up folks,

Keep seeing this SWM2 about and wondered if it would be man enough to run a HH Snubnose V2 Revolver in a light truck?. Obviously id run a BEC for everything else...

If not I could always use the Mamba Micro X of course...

And actually, still not sure if I'm going to be able to live with the noise of a revolver if I'm honest but the weight saving and torque are interesting me...

TIA

I'd think the extra $15-20 is worth getting the Mamba Micro X for the aux wire and the heat sink to give it a little higher rating

Hehe, I don't doubt that at all! But I've never tried a SWM2 and theyre even lighter than an MMX...

(But of course may well not be up to the job)

I wouldn't expect the SW2M to have the same low speed control that the SW4 or MambaX does.

It should have the same low speed control as the Micro X or Mamba X while running sensorless. Not as good as the SW4, but still good.

John Holmes and/or Robert@Castle are the two best people to ask.

John's thread is here: Have tech questions? Will answer.

Robert@Castle is the username of Robert at Castle Creations.

EDIT: Robert beat me to it! "thumbsup:

The more drag brake you have on the better the low speed control/ startup seems to be, but that's going to make it louder. I like my revolver on a esc with the ability to turn the drag brake off if I don't need it to lesson the noise.
