Default pro Martix 45T

I got my Matrix 45T today in mail. I have always run nitro and was wondering if you need to break motor in or anything?

It can't hurt, some people dunk the motor in a glass of water and run the motor at about 3 to 5 volts for a few minutes. Them clean the water out with motor spray then re-oil the bearing/ bushings.

If you put it in water, make sure it's distilled water. Hook up a 4-cell pack and let it run for a bit..... but really, it's a cheap electric motor and most guys just plug and play.

Just make sure to keep the brushes in decent shape and the comm cleaned once in a while. I have a 55-turn motor that works great and I've had it since 2004. It just keep going and going, even with the ORCRC type "crawling" we do.
