Default Motor voltage

Gents,

I have a question about the voltage at brushed motors.
I have a new brushed motor for my crawler and i want it powered by a HW1080 with 3s lipo packs.the only thing i dont know is if i can use this motor because its says in the specs :7,2V

Thx for the feedback

Bart

Thx for the reply .

Also for a 35t ? The thing is , sometimes its not mentioned like the tekin HD 35t .
I have the tamya tuned t35 and there it say to use to 7,2v.
But the tekin dont mention the voltage anywhere

You really need to find the product number or model number and check the specifications.

Otherwise try it and the worst case is a little blueish smoke and burnt motor smell.

Iam pretty sure the Tamiya can handle 3s....a colleague of my club had it in a scx10 for years.

I'm pretty sure any 540 size motor will handle 3s. Especially in a crawler.

A 540 35T should be able to handle 3S all day long, and twice on Sunday...
