Probably...a lot of ESCs behave differently with certain motors...you have to try

The problem was the esc used a different mcu. The g071 mcu is compatible but unlocks different. More info soon.

Any new info on this? Received an iflight Blitz w/ g071 mcu and want to try flashing to Am32. Thanks

Did you find it and does connection works in SW STM32CubeProgrammer ?

On the Discord of AM32 is now a target list for ESCs which are not listed on the github page

Re: Silent outrunner and ESC for less then $60

I'm new to blheli_32 and of course AM32 but I'm not new to outrunners. I bought a couple wraith32 v1s and I would like to get them setup for use on my 1/10 scale comp crawler. With that being said I'm curious if there is a better esc to use with small higher KV outrunners. I know lower KV is preferred but as I said I'm new and wondering if something like a 3450kv Micro Komodo would run on an esc that's overkill for its needs. I have an st programmer on the way but I already have an arduino. So my first question pertains to a specific esc that would perform well with a micro higher kv outrunner. My second question is how do I get an invite to am32.slack.com ?
I have tried to read through this thread. I apologize if I missed the answer to my question. Any help is appreciated.

I think the discord channel is more appropriate ...the slack is rather dead ----> https://discord.gg/h7ddYMmEVV For a 1/10 scale comp rig I think a micro outrunner like you mentioned isnt what you want ....I run a Holmes Hobby revolver with 1800 and 2040 kv and they are both great for their application . The wraith V1 esc have a not so great track report when it comes to being stable with 3or4s lipos...i would rather go with this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...d=Rb3HkYt5TiLJ or this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...d=eRpl6PeXFQ2g...they both have AM32 already installed"thumbsup"

I totally agree. I actually have a Holmes Hobbies v2 Team Spec revolver for my my 1/10 scale rig. I am also actively looking for a good AM32 esc to use with our 1/24 Scale comp trucks. I like the 3450 KV Micro Komodo but we are actively looking for an alternative to the Furitek motor. I will take a closer look at the discord. I appreciate your response and info.

What are the ESC settings I should change? I have a Hakrc 35a with am32 and a 3535 1000kv 12t pinion on a Capra gearbox.

On slow starts in a climb motor starts to cog. I think I can gear it down to 10t. I'm using 2s but I can go 3s.

On the settings, already put bidirectional, correct number of poles and 1060kv because I can't dial to 1000

Re: Silent outrunner and ESC for less then $60

Hello!
I saw voodoo's youtube videos about flashed wraith32 esc two years ago and was interested alot.
I bought blheli32 esc long time ago but yesterday i recalled about it and decided to flash it to am32 too. That was crazy two days and i was close to give up, but i did it! :D

My story:
The first trouble was my esc. I bought very cheap racerstar tattoo 30a. It has no swc swd pads so i had to solder to smt32 legs... that was hard.
The second trouble was in software - STM32CubeProgrammer refused to connect with esc. But it helped to flash ST-LINK.
I tried STM32 ST-LINK Utility and somehow it connected to esc! I cant recall all details and could not repeat it. But i remember that it worked only on the "hot plug" mode. It was miracle - i turned off memory protection and erased all data.
Then i flashed PA2 bootloader and AM32_SISKIN_F051_1.99 firmware. Got the third trouble - eeprom flash returned error. I think my fauld was i forgot to set 0x08007C00 address. Tried couple times and no succes. Manual says i need ST-LINK only for unlock memoty and flash bootloader. So i decided to switch to arduino nano.
Found out how to flash arduino to bootloader using BLHeliSuite32. My arduino flashed only with baud = 57600. Tried alot to connect to esc with Multi Esc Config but got "M1: Did not connect" all the time.
Decided to try more ST-LINK but spend all day soldering and trying to connect esc with ST-LINK Utility. No success.
I was desperated. I started to try arduino again with no luck. Message on this topic says "You need to have the st links, to install this firmware. The Arduino is for updating the firmware and adjusting the settings". As i said, i erased smt32 memory and flashed only bootloader, so i was sure that esc will go to trash.

Somehow i found out how to connect to the esc using arduino:
1) Run Multi Esc Config
2) Connect arduino to usb
3) Connect to arduino in Multi Esc Config
4) Connect esc to battery
5) Connect to M1 in Multi Esc Config
And it worked! I flashed firmware, eeprom and done some settings.
Before flashing and setting i have to disconnect all the parts and connect it again step by step, only that allow to connect to esc.

Also there was much more troubles concerning usb drivers. My luck i have two computers with win 7 and win 10 lol.

Result: Esc with blheli32 and 1150kv motor minimum speed was 2 round per second. Esc with am32 and 1150kv motor do 1 round per 2 seconds. It is the same min speed as hobbywing fusion se 1200kv (great combo).

Thanks to Alka and Voodoobrew, you rock!
P.S. dont buy esc without swc swd pads :D

On the low throttle motor vibration is very noticable. Is it ok? Looks like it is sin modulation work...

I had that exact motor but 1000kv and on a Hakrc 35A. It stutters like yours but I will reduce the pinion and increase the spur

What are your configurations like ? Can you post a screen pic ?
