Powering H.H. SHV500v3

I've been searching this evening and found a lot of descriptions, but wanted to confirm visually. When I am finished, the ESC Battery Connector will have the battery leads AND the servo power leads soldered together in the same connection to the battery, and will look something like this image...

Right?

JB, is the wiring in that image set up for 2 servos? A rig with 4ws, perhaps?

Might be for lights or a winch as well.

Did you have any issues running the SHV500v3 with that set-up? I have the identical set up but I cannot get the servos to move. I an running a 3S battery, I have checked the leads and I am getting a 12.43v reading so I know the servo has power, any ideas anyone?

If the servo has power then there may be an issue with the receiver. You still need a signal from the receiver to tell the servo to move.

Try plugging the servo into the number 2 channel on the receiver and giving it throttle.

Hey thanks for the replies, some dumbass turned the servo steering rate on my Tactic TTX 300 down, once I realized that and turned it back up everything started to work as intended. Amazing...
