|  Spektrum smart battery to non-smart esc
I have a spektrum smart battery and charger combo, and am wanting to connect it to my crawler which does not have a smart esc, so I bought IC3 connectors to attach to the esc. I realized this would defeat the purpose of the "smart" features as I would not be able to connect the microchip to the esc. I was wondering if there would be any problem running it without the smart terminal, or if there is any charging or something I should change?

As far as I understand that’s only for information. Should not cause any issues as your esc connector doesn’t have the contact Hang up and Drive |
