Default Rx Problems.??plz help!

I'll try my best to give all the details. I have a futaba 2 ch rx that worked fine up untill today last night I accidentily hookup up the batt wires wrong to the esc and the esc smoked but still worked then today the rx works with the esc but no servos? I hooked the servos up to another radio system and they work fine, if I put the esc in ch 1 it works fine if I put it in ch 2 it works fine but the servos don't work in either with this rx. I also tried changing the crystals just for safe measures. This doesn't make much logic to me but I would guess it's my rx?.

Since you just said that I tried it and yes the servos worked when I plugged in a rx pack to the batt plug?. So the rx did take a crap and the power from the esc isn't getting through it?

sounds like you may have fried the bec circut on the esc, try pulling the red wire on the esc and pluging in the esc and servo and try it again

what do you mean by pull it? pull it out of the plug or pull on the circut side or what? btw the motor works fine when plugged in too.

I pull the red lead out of the connector, to test it. you gently pull back the tab on the connector then slide the red wire out, making sure not to break the tab or else it will never stay on it again!!!

by doing this youre eleminating the bec circut from youre esc, temporarily

Pulled it out and I get nothing at all? should I check that wire with a voltmeter? or a test light?

Did you plug a reciever pack directly into the reciever without the ESC hooked to see if the servo's would run?

The circuitry in The Reciever connects all the positive together, and all the negative together. If you overloaded it, You could take an ohm meter and make sure all the negatives are conductive and all the positive are conductive. If not, then the circuitry needs to be repaired.

I am betting your ESC's BEC is messed.

Plugin and turn on the ESC only.
Volt meter between the black and red wires of the Radio plug.

You should get ATLEAST 5 volts. If you do get voltage here is can only be the reciever.

Good luck!
Now get that chit fixed and go crawlin!!!!
