Default Super Rooster Brake Issue

Has anyone else experienced the issue with a super rooster not having any brakes after sitting it up and adjusting your radio?
I have done everything and to this point I think it may be the ESC. I wanted to make sure before I send it in for repair.

Thanks for your input.

Super rooster doesnt really have any real brakes...
especially with a low RPM motor like a lathe.

Thats why us crawlers like it... near instant reverse.

That is why I switched to a Mamba Max. I had a few runaways during comps because of that damb "smart brake"

I think you can set it up either way cant you? I though you could have a 3 second delay or Instant reverse!

Mamba Max is still better, and not that much more expensive!

No brakes you just have to gently engage reverse to slow down. It seems to work ok but sometimes I've noticed once the truck is rolling the esc has a hard time engageing either way. There are time when I have been in a comp slowing down a hill to make the sharp corner at the bottom and the esc sudenly jerks into reverse. Still the best esc for clod though, till you get to the more expensive Mamba maxx.

Thanks, I know originally when I put the SR into my Bruiser with stock 720 motor it did have brakes and would stop really quick. But for some reason it dosn't work now. I have had the ESC for 8-9 months and working on a new Scale Project and purchased a Mamba 25 for it as I have been hearing a lot of good things about it for 2.2 and the Mamba Max both. Price is not really my concern it was more of a space issue as I am going for Scaleness and finding ways to hide the ESC has been my concern for the Max.

I think the MM is smaller than a reg. rooster, definitely smaller than a Super chicken.

it tis smaller. how is your braking from reverse to forward? You might have the motor and your throttle reversed.

It doesn't catch either, it will roll about 2-3 revolutions of the wheel and then come to a stop.
