All I can say is, talk about "very poorly worded"...not what you wrote, but the manufacturer's info. Looks like some low-end Chinese company, with an employee who tried to translate the info into English, so as to make it sound like a high-end product, but failed miserably. Until (or, should I say, IF) someone reputable reviews this, my guess is, is probably no better than the other low-end wannabes.

If you want a quality, high-channel radio, but don't want to spend a lot of money on the high-end Futaba, Sanwa, Spektrum, etc, check out the FlySky Noble NB4 and/or Noble Pro. You'll find your money much better spent...and, while support might not be the greatest, I'm willing to bet it's better than this company's support will be (assuming they even provide any).

seeing as there are only a few companys that actuly manufactur radios ill bet its a decent radio the look and feel might be cheaper but ill bet its made along side other brands mentioned above
like the dunbro factory manufactures radios for radiolink and if i remeber corectly sanwa and airtronics they also make the cheap budget dumborc radios

i was able to find some information about them

What's funny:
I came back into the RC Hobby in about 2008/2009 (helicopter).
At that time I bought a Spektrum DX6i (and after this a DX7s and then 2014 a DX9 Black, which I still love and use for all my helis and planes) and Spektrum was told "cheap stuff" etc. from all the Futaba and Graupner etc. guys. I know a shop which did not sell Spektrum radios at this time, because the owner said "not that cheap bad stuff".
And now you tell me Spektrum is "High End"? ;)
Do not forget: I LOVE my DX9 Black and won't change soon...
But I also got a Spektrum DX5 C (?) for cars. I immediately sold it. I never would name this even only "mid class".

I do have a Flysky Noble (and about 15 receivers) and love it, still did not get a Noble Pro.
I even bought the new FS-G7P with Ant protocol, only to test it.
I use the cheap "LCD" TurboRacing P52 and P32 and think those are really good, bang for the buck.
I do have several DumboRC - bang for the buck.

I am simply interested in new stuff.
And I am NOT biased as you seem, heavily.
Makes me think of the old days, Futaba, Graupner, ... guys... same mindset.

So I will also buy this new WFLY X9, simply to test it...
That's interesting for me.

And THEN I will judge - without prejustice.

Thanks.
You're right and now I also remember this name WFLY.
And there are several stick-radios from WFLY, I searched on Banggood:
https://www.banggood.com/search/wfly.html?from=nav
... and Aliexpress:
https://de.aliexpress.com/wholesale?...home.1000002.0

But those seem, in contrary to DumboRC radios (which I really like) no cheap radios at all, rather "mid-" to high-priced (for China-brands).

I think, this new X9 could be interesting...
And that's why I will test it ;-)

I will report...

Walter

So which one of these cheaper radios do you think would hold up the best against an 8 year old kid? Been thinking of the dumbo rc one, but this one seems more robust?

the dumbo 6 channel radio sells for $30-$40 the 4 channels are even cheaper

this radio is listed for $139 so its definitly not a budget radio

i think the dumbo would be best for a 8 year old cause of its simplicity its a decent radio and if it dose break well its cheap

i wouldent turn a young kid loose with a fully programeble radio next thing you know the kid will be changing channels on the tv when he pulls the trigger on the radio lol kid hay why isent my car going dad hay i was watching that lol ok maybe not but you get the idea lol

I agree, Dumbo is super robust but quite large.

For a 8 year old I guess the small TurboRacing radios (3 channel) would be perfect. You even can get them in different colours (good for kids and wives).

I really like those radios. Those are the radios that come with the CR-18, CR-24, RocHobby Katana, etc.
I have a couple of those.
They are sold under many different names locally, 15-30 bucks.

Spectrum radios are the biggest pieces of junk made. They may as well be called Integy or Injunka radios.

Sanwa is just way overpriced. Futaba's are pretty decent as are JRs but JR/KoProCo can be quite pricey too.

Looks like a decent option. 40 models, 1800 ft range.....

Ive seen GOOD Chinese companies have bad Engrwish translations too.

Maybe worth a try for some...

Re: WFLY X9 - New 9-Ch Car/Boat-Radio with Touchdisplay and GPS Speed-measurement

I'd still suggest also taking a look at the FlySky Noble NB4. Slightly (very slightly) more expensive, not offers more. Although it only comes with 4Ch receivers (of which they have several different versions), they also have 8Ch & 12Ch receivers. Yes, the Noble NB4 supports up to 12 channels...and, through future firmware upgrades, it could potentially support more.

When the NB4 was released, it was a 4Ch system...through firmware updates, it was upgraded to an 8Ch system, then a 12Ch system...although, I will admit that the current 12Ch Rx only supports 11 useable channels, with the 12th channel (currently) only supplying power to accessories (such as LEDs). When the V2 versions of the 8Ch & 12Ch receivers are released, all 8 & 12 channels will be accessable through the Tx.

No if you want more you have to buy the Noble Pro, no future update for the Noble NB4 (edit: for 16 ch). Flysky changed minds ;-)
Initially they said there will be upgrades, but then they thought is it better do release a new radio for twice the price (Noble Pro), if people want more than 8 channels.
Also bought a Noble Pro, but gave it to a buddy.

I do have a Noble, of course, for years and love it.
Would not know how to use it with 12 channels, since the software only shows 8 (did not yet do the very latest FW update).

Did even make several videos:

Not true. That's why people said when 2.0.93 was the last...and then they released 2.0.99. And then, even after there was (supposedly) not going to be any more, they released 2.0.100. while it is POSSIBLE no more might be released, it's weirdly possible that more COULD be released. And, ID no future updates are released, that's ok, as the Noble NB4 is already outstanding.

Stop to be a nitpicker.

Much more interesting:
How do you control 12 channels with your Noble NB4???
Never heared of this.

Man, this looks worn out ;)
I do have 10+ radios of this type (since they come with such a lot of micros, and the "knob version", which also binds to the same receiver, which comes with the small RGT and the 1/76).
My blue and white ones, which I bought for a bargain years ago, are still brandnew never used in their box.

The P32 and P52 are a perfect upgrade, which lot of options and display.

I think those radios are perfect for indoors, "living room", and of course for kids.

Looks like a interesting radio.
Been using several 8ch hacked Flysky GT3C for the past 6-7 years. Looked into many other options, but that GT3C is hard to beat for its options, LiPo battery, low weight, duribility and low cost of the 3, 6 and 8 channel receivers.

This WFLY X9 might be a contender as my new radio. Tics a lot of the boxes.

I found a first review on YouTube by RC Play Ground.

And from the same Youtuber also the review in German for those that can understand that.
