Unfortunantly, the gt5 rx will not work with the g7p. Theres a thread on the new g7p that explains the difference in the two radios

Crawler Canyon Reviews: FlySky FS-G7P

Shortest possible review? While I don't explicitly regret buying one, I wouldn't buy another.

Ill keep my gt5, even though ive not tryed the g7p. Only thing i seen that i would like about it, it the fact of mixing channels.

And the Radiolink RC6GS radio have excellent all channel mixing capabilities.

I have one and I like it for the price (and I paid $15 more to get it through amazon), but I have run into a glitchy steering channel. About 90 days old and amazon is taking it back for credit at least. Unfortunately I have 5 RX's now, so I bought another one and am hoping the steering issue was a fluke. The interface is definitely non intuitive but doesn't take long to get used to - I actually had a flysky stick TX for quadcopters and the interface is similarly quirky. I don't have a gt5 or Radiolink to compare to but it's hell of a lot better than the RTR radios I had. Steering and dig endpoints on my Capra are setup well. And I like expo to dampen my old man jitters crawling around.
