| GOOD A/C lipo Charger ?????
All the threads I found were about 2 years old. I'm in the market for a good A/C 120volt charger that will let me keep track of the individual cell voltages. I have a traxxas charger it seems to work good but you have no clue how each cell is doing and I have a cheap 12v charger that works good but I dont want to have to hook it to a DC power supply every time I want to use it.

Check out the Hi-Tec X2 A/C charger. Fairly inexpensive but it has lots of features. I've never been a competitive RCer, and this charger does more than what I need from a charger. |

I've also got a Hi-Tec X2, it can charge most all the newer battery chemistries like LIHV. Its been fine for my needs. It can show the voltage per cell, test resistance and store 10 charge profiles (they call it battery Memory) which is super handy. Its not the newest but I think the only thing its missing is smart battery compatibility, personally I dont need that. Last edited by HumboldtEF; 09-29-2022 at 08:39 PM. |

I had the X2 also, it was great. Recently purchased the Venom Pro Duo as a replacement, the X2 unexpectedly found a new home. It had 10w more and a smaller footprint that fit my workbench confinement a little better. Hitec has been around for a long time and reliable products.

I run the Hitec X2 also. Comes with a ton of adapters in duplicate so you can use both channels at once already and it's easy enough to source new ones with 4mm banana plugs from most anywhere, or build your own. I charge 1S batteries for my little plane with a charging board, all the way up to 6S for my Mojave. The adapters I bought for mine that weren't included besides the board for 1S cells were EC3, EC5, and XT90. Made a quick adapter for SCX24 batteries with an XT60 and JST leads. The Gens Ace IMars dual charger has also intrigued me. Might be worth a look into. |
