Scx24 reefs 99

Been out of crawling for a few months, got back into it with my girlfriends daughter with a scx24. Wanted to start off with a servo and decided on a reefs 99 with a treal mount that said it was for this combo. With the bumper installed the suspension won’t compress at all, with the bumper removed it still slightly hangs up between the frame rails. Is there another mount I should’ve got or is there modifications required to run this servo? Maybe a different bumper mount that goes on the outside of the frame rails?

Did you trim the top corners of the servo mounting ears?

It's a tight fit between the rails with anything larger than stock servo or an emax es08. I'm running a larger servo on my scx24 and I had to trim the ears as suggested above.

I did not trim anything, that explains why every other mount only had one hole and this one was discontinued everywhere
. I did end up getting it to run by removing the bumper and widening the frame rails a little. Then quickly found out I need aluminum steering links… lol
