im looking for a new cheap direct power servo for my wraith i have holms servos i have 9imods i have jx servos holms are awsome but exspensive 9imod are way over rated and dont hold up vary well the jx well we all know about those i havent tryed one but the dmond servos from what ive herd have they use that hardened chinesium for there gears so there out i ran across the 1tenth brand i dont know anything about them there cheap though about $65 and they talk a good game any one try one of these yet i ran accross a brand called yantrs and they have helicticle gears that are saposed to be stronger than straight cut i guess they are running $70 the one i like most is also the most exsensive at $85 the agfrc a75bumw im pretty sure they make the servos for the other companys who sell direct power servos besides that i think they sell replacement gear sets if i strip one and it will run off 4s there are lots of other brands outhere but there more exspensive if i go over $100 it will be a holms unit but if any of these hold up good i might cheap out |

i have been using NSDRC a local Socal brand. they have a plastic cased direct power servo that is a beast and is very affordable ... so far i have 5 of their servos (3 of these) and they have all been great ... plus their customer service is just as good as holmes. https://nsdrcscaleparts.com/products...g-budget-servo unfortunately they are out at the moment but given how popular it is they should be back soon. Or lots of local shops have them around. |

Ive got two of the 9imods 50kg’s and one epower 50kg. They both seem to be the same servo, and have no failures yet running in lots if wet conditions. However, they are pretty underwhelming in power on 3s, despite the 50kg claim. I believe the 9imod ones were around 55-60 CAD each, and was able to get spare gearsets for them as well. |

I ran a dmond 50kg for a while with no trouble. I wanted to swap to direct power and ditch the bec so I picked up the 65kg dmond a few weeks back. I'm only running 3s so it's not getting max power, but its stronger than the 50kg at 8.4v. I also grabbed a pair of 9imod 70kg 14v for my capra. Same reason, getting rid of the bec, plus a power upgrade. I have no delusion that the power rating is accurate but even overrated it feels pretty stout. I just got those installed yesterday so no crawling feedback yet, just bench racing. Hopefully mine hold up better than yours did. |

i have 4 of those 9imods fine on 1.9 tire rigs but ive burned them up on 2.2s the 70kg sound good if it puts out half its rating thats still alot of power | |

I'll concur The dmond has been holding up on my oversized over powered wraith. Probably only 6 months on it so far. Typical Chinese servo that Probably has maybe 70 percent its claimed power but still plenty of power Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk |

| ![]() I've got one that I put it in my Gen8 4Runner which has a Castle SW4 ESC in it and it seems to be happier. It had a GDW IPX896 43kg servo without using a BEC and it'd glitch out. Probably could've thrown in a BEC but I like going direct powered instead anyway.

For 3S: Flash Hobby M60BHW, ~800oz and 0.10@60º, $63 AGFRC SA75CVSW, ~700oz and 0.09@60º, $85 Flash Hobby M50BHW, ~600oz and 0.09@60º $57 For 4S: NSDRC RS500b, ~550oz and 0.09@60º, $60 The SA75 is one of my favorite servos ever. Super smooth, dead silent. Was even better when I first started getting them on Amazon and they were 60 bucks. The Flash Hobby M60BHW is my current go-to for any build. Heaps of power for around 60 bucks, and sometimes you can get lucky and find them for less than the M50. I do think that mfr. claimed speeds are more "just plain made-up" than usual torque numbers-- though all of these are supposed to be essentially the same speed, the SA75 is significantly faster than the others. |

| ![]() I picked one of these up a while back to try in one of my Gmade rigs. Have a few other direct power servos in a few other trucks. Agree, the SA75 is VERY quiet and fast. Does suck that the price went up a little while ago. I think I paid around $70 for it.

Anyone got the HK servo yet? Website says it's .21seconds at 12v, seems real slow to me.
