Default CC Copperhead and outrunners?

Looking at possibly 86ing my Mamba Micro combo and going to an outrunner and an ESC with a built in BEC.
Looked at the Sidewinder but pretty weak BEC and the Copperhead says this on CC's site: SMARTSENSE™, Sensored Only and Brushed Motor Operation
I reckon it's a bigger footprint than the Micro but having a functional built-in BEC would save space. And less wiring.
Anyone running an outrunner on the Copperhead, any issues?
Sorry if it's been covered and being newbish, I didn't search at all. Lazy day...

Copperhead works fine with an outrunner, but personally I'd look into getting a Furitek Lizard 10 instead. It's a few years newer with it's FOC feature, not silent but minimal outrunner screech, 0.5v stronger BEC than the Copperhead and Bluetooth capability for roughly the same price (new). Might even have slightly smaller footprint.

I want to stick to Castle, I have the B-Link already and when able to support American companies & products.
Looking at the Copperhead further I see it doesn't have the aux-wire which I have setup on my TX to adjust drag brake. I don't want to loose that, and not going to step up to a MMX.
I'll just stick with my Micro and look at an outrunner for it, I like the noise.

I'm actually looking at a 3BRC Black Jacket sensored now.
Anyone running one that can vouch on it's auditory feedback?
And torn whether I should step up or down in KV compared to current Slate, options are 2000kv or 2650kv
I shot them off a contact us form from their site about a week ago, with no reply I sent another this morning. Doesn't give me warm fuzzies on their support.

I suggest you to avoid Copperhead 10: it should be fantastic with Outrunners (smooth as Sidewinder 4, but more powerful), but it's clear that Castle has some production problem with this ESC! I bought one from Amain, and it has begun to casually cut out... now Castle has sent to me another Copperhead 10, and it has exactly the same behaviour! I add that I own 2x Mamba X, 1x SV4, and 1x SV3... and no problem at all with them in the same configuration!
