I work on TQ3's quite a bit. Is it the older or newer TQ3? Newer has a green circuit board on the thumb switch and the older has just metal posts. What does the servo do? Go to nuetral, or swing hard left/right, or nothing (acts like off)? I would think that if the servo is going to nuetral or swinging hard it is the radio. But if the servo is just acting like it's off, it is the servo or the RX. Let me know and I can help you more. |

1. Plug in a different servo to make sure its not your servo. 2. Bust out the multimeter and test the switch. 3. Make sure the wires are soldered in the correct places on the switch. 4. Make sure that you bought the correct switch. |

I had similar problems. I turned down the endpoint adjustment on my controller to make my 5995 work. I don't think the tq3 has this adjustment. A non-digital servo may be the answer. Try the servo in the first ch to make sure it isn't the servo.

I remebered a similar problem I had with a TQ3. It was a dirty servo reversing switch. This is only a problem on the older type, as the newer ones are wired better. But if the old switched get dirty, the switch wont get any power to it. Just flip your reversing switch back and forth several times. This may do the trick. I have seen MacGyver do the same thing to his Radio. |

then you can't use that servo with the 3rd channel. Digitals can be picky.
