Default I'm going backwards...

I just got my XRC put together as a roller and it's running backwards. I'm running a Tekin Rebel2 w/ an Integy 55t and a Traxxas TQ3 radio.

Forward/brake/reverse works as it should, just backwards from normal. Everything is hooked up correctly and the servo reversing switch on the radio effects the throttle range, just not the direction.

Can I simply reverse my motor connections or are there other issues?

You can reverse the motor wires.......it's allot easier though to just flip the 2nd channel switch on the radio.

Weither the TQ2 has them or not is a moot point, this guys running a TQ3 anyway.

Like I mentioned in the original post, the servo reversing switch does not reverse the direction of the motor. I'm assuming because of the ESC.

Either way, I've already flipped my motor connections and it's running great.
Thanks for the help guys.

Are you sure your not turning the steering and throttle trims? Sounds like it to me.

The reversing switches are down on the bottom of the radio.

Either way,Glad you got it running.

I have a clod that I built. I had the same issue, the easiest is to just reverse the motors, every thing works just fine.

No, i'm not adjusting the trim pots. Yes, I know where the reversing switches are.

Either way, like I said before, it's a dead issue now. Still kinda odd though...
