Default Novak super rooster or crawler

I am taking a leap from nitro trucks to electric crawling. I will be getting a WK to start and was wondering which of these two would be best for the ECS.

My ss crawler esc is hard wired to the 18.5 turn motor. With a gd-600 I can damn near break my chasis in half.

if you can afford it go for the crawler system. just make sure you get the revised system. although, dont know how to tell other than field testing.

Just order right from Novak, cause that was a two week pain in the a$$. No way to tell if it's just on the shelf at your local shop.

oh yeah, and they made the braking stronger, I think, there is a whole review fourm somewhere in this section.

so in normal speek, it hummed alot in nuteral, like it couldn't find it, then overheated and smoked. But all in all great customer service, and pretty fast too, all thing taken into account

Cool thanks for letting me know this. It will probably be the first upgrade if not a tube chassis

yeah, obviously you dont know what was wrong with the 1st one. it had no drag brake, and locked rotor detention kicked in all the time during crawling and disabling the system for a few seconds, meanwhile your rig goes rolling back down whatever you were crawling. and yes there is a rather large thread about the system.

My vote for super rooster , its already proven itself and its been around awhile . basicly no bugs to work out . havent tried the crawler but could be more money .(no disrepect to crawler system).

The new Rooster 12t is water-resistant, but you might want a seperate BEC if the 1.5A isn't enough for the servos you're running. Super Roosters are getting hard to find, but the new Chicken is pretty sweet.

As for the Crawler, it's awesome. Be sure to build a strong rig, because it's bound to find a weak spot.

*l* He means the crawler motor will find a soft spot in your tranny or diffs, or driveline, something, and break said soft spot.
